Maybe this is not a good topic, because there are many golfer no need the cheapest coarse. They need the convenient to play it, even they need pay more for enjoy the game.
But there are some golfer need the cheapest golf coarse to play. Especially for the beginner golfer, who need play more frequently to get more skill.
Some golf specialist give the suggest that they do not need to search the cheapest golf course. They need only to practice their golf swing or putting in indoor golf simulator or practice swing in driving range. After that you can play in real course two times per month. And that is enough.
But (of course ) there are some golfers prefer to play golf in the course. They feel the "different and unique sensation".
Somebody in Seoul, Korea, ask in forum where is the course near Seoul which have only pay less than 50 US$. It is difficult to play with this lower price in Korea.
I don't know much about this price if you search course in Korea, but You can play golf in US for only less than 100 US$. From http://www.ehmac.ca/everything-else-eh/54293-best-cheap-golf-course-gta.html, I found some nice price to play golf in US; Here for examples :

Need more cheapest course ?
Let's we visit to New Zealand.
There is one place that offer cheap for green fee
One great small golf club to join is Tarras in Central Otago on the main road between Christchurch and Queenstown not far from Cromwell (the road runs through the middle of the course).
No clubhouse, just an honesty box to put your $10 green fees into. Greens have fences around them to keep the sheep off. If you hit a fence you get to replay the shot. White markers indicate where the fairway is because you get to place the ball on the fairway. Fairways have a bit of sheep dung on them. Fun course.
We have no affiliation to Tarras, we just heard about it. Yearly membership is $100nzd (as at 01 April 08).
To get a membership form just contact info@lindisriver.co.nz
